My Top 21 Scriptures From Being 21

My Top 21 Scriptures From Being 21

Hey guys! Well, today is my 22nd birthday (which I can’t exactly phantom how I got this old in the first place…), and as you may know, I love reflecting on time as it goes along, and so I’d thought about putting together a list of my favorite Scriptures from the past year of being 21. These are my favorite 21 Scriptures that really spoke to me and stuck out to me over the last year while I was 21.

  1. Numbers 23:19– “God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?”
  2. Numbers 9:18-19– “At the LORD’s command the Israelites set out, and at His command they encamped. As long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle, they remained in camp. When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the LORD’s order and did not set out.”
  3. Romans 12:15– “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.”
  4. Jeremiah 29:11– “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”
  5. Psalm 97:11– “Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.”
  6. Psalm 31:19– “How abundant are the good things that You have stored up for those who fear You, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in You.”
  7. Psalm 33:11– ” But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.”
  8. Deuteronomy 7:21– “Do not be terrified by them, for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.”
  9. John 10:10– “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
  10. Joshua 21:44-45– “The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.”
  11. Habakkuk 3:2– “LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.”
  12. Proverbs 4:23-27– “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.”
  13. Proverbs 10:28–  “The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.”
  14. Psalm 139:16– “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.”
  15. Psalm 107:2– ” Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story– those He redeemed from the hand of the foe.”
  16. Psalm 145:13– “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in He does.”
  17. 1 Peter 2:9– “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
  18. 2 Timothy 4:17– “But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth.”
  19. Titus 2:14– “[Jesus] who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good.”
  20. Psalm 33:18– “But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.”
  21. John 14:12– “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”

21 was a pretty good year for me, and I am so excited to see what God has in store for 22!

Until next time,
